Last year, the research agency BCGroup conducted a study of the precious metals market.

The purpose of the study was to study the market and its participants, determine market trends.

The following tasks were set for the study:

  • determining the capacity of the region’s market (determining the size of the population’s investment in precious metals);
  • determining a list of competing investment instruments and their popularity among the population;
  • identifying fears and reasons why the population refuses to invest in precious metals;
  • defining the portrait of the target audience and its media preferences.

Desk research, personal interviews and an online survey were used as methods for collecting information. The sample size for the survey was 800 people.
