Cardboard and flexible packaging for dairy products


Last year, the research agency BCGroup conducted an analysis of the market for packaging products for dairy products.

The analysis was carried out with the aim of the investor acquiring a stake in a plant producing the specified products.

The objectives of the study included:

  • assessment of market capacity in general and by area;
  • calculation of market shares, assessment of competitors’ positions;
  • monitoring of competitors: location of factories and own offices, equipment, capacity, financial performance indicators, structure of the sales system, size of the customer base, structure of the customer base;
  • segmentation of consumers and assessment of the financial capacity of segments;
  • assessment of opportunities to enter adjacent markets: market capacity and potential.

Desk research, expert interviews and an online survey of organizational specialists were used as methods for collecting information. The survey was attended by supply managers, purchasing managers and other decision makers on the purchase of packaging products.

It is worth noting that since the study, the company has almost tripled its turnover and has ambitious plans for the future.
